The photos you upload through a cemetery page are placed into a queue to be transcribed. You can choose to allow the community to transcribe them for you or you can transcribe them yourself. If you choose the transcribe them yourself, they will be available for 7 days. After that they will be available for the Find a Grave community to transcribe.
To transcribe photos tap on Transcribe in the bottom menu. Tap on the photo.
Transcribe the information from the headstone into the appropriate fields. If more than one person is listed on the gravestone, after entering the information for the first person, tap 'Add Person' at the top of the form. Scroll down to fill in all known fields including an inscription. Tap Save.
Continue to transcribe photos in the Transcribe queue.
