Creating a Find a Grave Account

To create a Find a Grave account, you need to register with a valid email address. Each member can register for one account with their email address. If you don’t have an email address, you’ll need to create an email address so that you can register on Find a Grave.
 

Register to be a Find a Grave Member

1       Once you have a valid email address, you can register for a member account with Find a Grave by clicking Register in the top right-hand corner.
 

2       Fill out the form, agreeing to the Terms of Service and Privacy Statement, and select Create Account.
 

 
3       An email is sent to the email address that you registered with. Click on the link in the email to confirm registration.

Why do I have to register and become a member?

You do not have to register. You can search the database and visit millions of memorials and photos without registering. However, you will need an account if you want to create memorials, add photos or contribute to Find a Grave in other ways.

Can I have more than one account?

Only one account per person is allowed.
